Im excited fur ya, and a little jelous. Reminds me of the one that got away... I once had a 37 biz coupe on a 55 chev frame, had atilt front end (sheetmetal screwed together)... Somewhere in its history they used to run it at the "31 dragway"

waste of time

got a little aggravated today... so i need to vent

i was telling a local guy last week about this 37... he wanted first chance at it--never asked price or anything so i figured he was pretty serious...called me before i even got it home, telling me how he really didnt want anyone else to have a chance at it before he did...
today i meet him & his girlfriend, we go to my shop and i show him the car -- still he has never asked for a price...
after looking for a little while he finally asks... i shoot a price--he quickly says he cant afford that...
i try to keep the discussion alive by asking what he would give...he throws out an extremely low price that really told me this guy was not seriously wanting this car, he was just looking for a "bargain"

well he did not find it here!

worst case scenario, no one buys it and i am "stuck" with another old car[ddd

i spent the morning bolting the body to the frame, and installing the doors...
then hung the rt rear fender for "display purposes" lol (-just a few bolts)

wanting to spend some serious time on it, but dont have it to spend this week

for another update, i decided to put a few pieces together this morning, using hardware store bolts i put 4 into the front cap, a couple in the radiator to hold it in place, and set the running boards up on their brackets...
i wanted to put both headlamps on, but only found one of the "stands"

it looks like the satin red is not as dark as the cap indicated... not really happy with it...
