Has anyone else seen this show with wrestler Rick Savage as the head of an "Artifact Recovery company"? Caught an episode the first time last night, typical psuedo-reality show fluff if you ask me with wildly inflated 'value' placed on unremarkable rusty junk. C'mon, $200.00 for a rusty old crescent wrench, $100.00 for a pickaxe head and $1000.00 for an equally rust two man crosscut saw blade? Just 'cause this stuff is old and a celebrity dug it up on camera doesn't make it gold....
I think I've got a goldmine in my scrap pile...

Sorry for the rant, but this show really rubbed me the wrong way....

I think TV producers have simply run out of ideas. Why else would shows like American Stuffers (where they stuff dead pets and animals) that Jousting show, Impractical Jokers, Cajun Pawn, etc, etc even be on the air ?

Now they have some tuna fishing show and it won't be long before every fish species has it's own show. TV has never been this bad that I can ever remember.

And on the auction shows where they buy storage units, you will never convince me that they don't plant some goodies in the back of the units they buy because they always seem to find something worth $ 10,000 hidden in the back of the unit.

All of these shows are killing us who enjoy buying other peoples junk for short money now everyone thinks they have a real treasure.
Enough already with all these shows:mad::mad:

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Reality TV what a waste. Wonder if ex-vp Al Gore had any thing to do with it  Well he did get the web right :D

I just saw the advertisements for a new show coming out, it is about a hot dog shop that (of course) has lots of drama and BS going on. A hot dog shop............they will make a show about any and all subjects. I fully expect to see a reality show about some whacky Gynocologist office, or Funeral Home sometime down the road.

I had a talk the other day with my bro-in-law who produces episodes of Hoarders. He said his bosses were big on the "change" at the end. He was stuck on the idea of fake deadlines and digging for drama. I couldn't get him to see that most people just watch to see the train wreck.

That was an hour of my life I wish I could have back....... almost as bad as that picker sisters show........ but atleast the picker sisters were hot.
