A total of 42 cars from the Monster Garage stable are up for grabs. Should be interesting to see what they go for.

The Ferarri pasta maker must have offended some purists, because it didn't bring that much (for a prancing horse)...about 11 K if I remember

Whatever happened to the Monster Garage show anyway. Seemed like one day all you heard about was Jessie James and the next ......... nothing.

I think they ran out of ideas. Some of the builds were really getting lame. The one I enjoyed the most was the custom Bill Hines, Gene Winfield, and the others did, and also the '29 sedan rat rod build. (Jesse kept that one for himself, wonder if Sandra Bullick rides in it??)

Prices at BJ seem very soft this year so far. Maybe it won't affect the high end cars because those buyers always have money, but the average driver quality cars that are going across the block now are going pretty cheap. Like the '64 Comet Caliente that went for only $ 19.5 tonight. The economy sucks right now, and the guys who are buying those under $ 50K cars have to be feeling the pinch.

Speaking of Jesse James, he posts on the HAMB. It was funny as h*** the first time he did that, people were like saying " yeah, sure, you're really Jesse James!!" Then he started quoting chapter and verse about things he would only know, like how many episodes they did, and other facts about the show. Then the tone really changed and the leg humpers started to kiss his boots.
:D:D

Personally, I'd rather meet his wife than him.

Actually I think it was the producers that killed the show for good ideas. JJ just wanted out of that deal towards the end and was only fulfilling his contractual obligations. The build with Hines and all those old timers was awesome.
