I mean I know a lot of people who got banned from this site just because. I mean stuff like trying to help other people and then when it was not helpful then they were banned. So it happens on here a lot also.

only if they don't abide by the rules--
remember this is a PG forum, any that don't "behave accordingly" will probably get zapped...seriously doubt any were banned b/c their advice wasn't helpful

I was thinking the definition of 'advice' might be the problem. Strongly worded 'advice' can cause problems sometimes, especially if its not all that sound. A good example is ackerman. Some folks will throw a fit if your straight axle design doesn't provide 'text book' ackerman, and get upset when you don't listen. Good ackerman is nice, but far from the absolute necessity that many groups insist on. Getting into a loud 'I'm right--you're wrong' advice situation--might get ya kicked.

Lots of 'wrong' things work fine.
