Photobucket is shoving this new format down our throats and I don't like it as well as the old format. I still haven't figured out how to do downloads and copying pictures like I used to be able to do. Are there any other hosting companies that you guys like ?

Don

You can download them directly to RRR or post them on your facebook page.
You can also set up your own website and host them there.
I'm not sure how but you can even host them from your own computer by assigning a url to your shared folder

Don,

I've never used Photobucket, so I'm not aware of the details regarding the format and file transfer issues you're having. I use Flickr for my public postings of photos and Zenfolio for my professional sales website hosting. I really like both of them and have had not issues (other than my low res shots on Flickr winding up all over the internet). If you're looking for a web host for professional photos and sales I believe I can get you a discount code for Zenfolio.

Well, like most folks I hate change and really fought the new Photobucket for a while but have found several things I like about it. One is the drag and drop for uploading pics and you can drag one or a bunch at a time. Also like the album list sitting there on the left at all times and I like how the whole album loads so that you can just scroll down through it instead of having to hit view all or page through it.........and if I'm not mistaken the thumbnails are bigger now, which I like.
As for copying links I just scroll over the thumbnail, then scroll over the little gear that pops up in the upper right corner and a menu pops down and I click "get links" and then click "IMG Code" and paste that in like I always have.

Like I said, I don't like change either but I'm adapting. :p

Ya grumpy ole fart :D
Get with the change big boy
I actually like the new format. It seems easier to navigate [P

My gripe, I haven't figured out how to do tag and post multiple photos at one time.

Hmm, so I am testing that tip....
