Sorry to sidetrack but i've always thought chopping doors like in this foto from Mako would be cool on all kinds of cars. This is the first time i have seen it done. Good way to handle rocker panel rust out. I would like to see it done to a 50's,60's car. love those twin oil bath air cleaners.

If you're talking about the really TALL rocker panel under the door, that was "stock" on Dodge trucks of that era-just ask the POOKIES.

If you're talking about something else, my bad, pleaser pardon my stupidity-it's late in my part of the world as I type this.

Yes, that Cockshutt grill looks absolutely GORGEOUS on there...wonder how hard it would be to find one, they're not as common as a John Deere or Case around here...

when "horsepower" tv made their "raunchy ratt" project, they used a tractor grill. Looked pretty good.

Personally I love tractor grill's they add some unique qualities to a rat rod. The more mixed and matched parts the better. [
