Anybody do the rat rod magazine tour last summer?

Last year out in the midwestern part of the USA...the good folks at Rat Rod Magazine put on a huge tour...anybody on here partake in the tour?

Mike, I posted that video on my '30 Dodge truck build post and it didn't get much of a ripple. There's a short rat rod tour next weekend and part of it starts a mile from my house. I won't be going though but should get some pics.


That tour looks like a blast though. If only I was younger...

The video is really well done too...it is amazing how far these guys drive the old rat rods...

I think it is neat to see guys driving their stuff...

I am not much of crowd person but it would fun to be part of the parade even if it was just a short part of it...

I get postings on Facebook from the magazine. They have about 30 sign ups for the build off.

Yeah my neighbor said he was building one for it but he wasn't even sure if they got his application. He's also one of those guys who has built 10 cars and never finished one LOL so I'm not sure how that's going to work

There were well over 200 entries when they finally closed registration. I know of several dozen that are being built for it. The judging will be done at RatStock 2024 in September up in Illinois. There are guys coming from as far as the west coast to compete. I was in the first dozen to enter. Looking forward to seeing how I measure up.
