British Land Rover I think is now a part of Jaquar Manufacturing. I got to drive a Land Rover one time back a few years. Non-synchronized gear box took double clutching to shift and seemed to be really under powered compared to my old Jeep. Bigger, heavier and harder to find find parts. A Jeep foundation would be cooler in my mind if you were gonna build one. If you want to see a cool Jeep project, look up Soltz's build.

yeah, yeah, I know it's a land cruiser and it's wrong hand drive,
guessing in the land down under......just meant has anyone seen
a build thread for this anywhere? wondering what suspension
(front axle) eng, drive train, etc? anyway just checkin' thanks......

Looks to be a homemade axle with 4x4 1/2 ton ends welded on. Not an operational 4WD
Structural pipe with 90* elbows welded together to make a drop axle.

Man that was quick....thanks OI.....any guesses on the front axle?
sure looks heavy duty.......

The link he gave you was on the Facebook page of the place that built it. You should probably direct your questions to them...?

I think OI did the same thing I did, googled the rod shop name in the bottom right of the first photo.

I would build something like this if I had unlimited time.

That is way cooool [cl
I like the idea of being able to close it in and make it an all weather car. Don't know about the drive train but i don't see an exhaust any where [S
