Anyone running a GPS speedo?

I'm working on a lil something, yet theres zero way to add a speedo to it. Went searching and found these, I'm amazed by them. They make a big headache turn into a (40 buck) non problem.

Anyone got any experience with these?

I have one in both my 31 A model an my 83 C10. I love mine! Easy to install. They get away from the need to worry about gear changes in the speedo drive unit regardless of transmission or rear end gearing and tire size. That was one thing I hated when after making any kind of change in that regard that you had a hard time getting the speedo to read right. I'd rather know for sure my speed was right when the law is around. I avoid any problems with them if possible. The only draw back with mine is that the odometer reads in full miles and not tenths. The only time that matters to me is when trying to find a place that gives instructions including tenths of a mile.(not really a big deal) Mount the box on the dash pointing up. The meter itself can be found in difference sizes where they can be mounted in original positions or anything custom made to fit. I highly recommend them! The cost is right too! I was going to mention that also but forgot. I only notice it when driving past a power substation. It goes out but comes back quickly after you pass the substation. Another thing to take into consideration. When starting the vehicle wait about 30 seconds and the signal connects then you get readings on the speedometer. If you crank and run it may take a while for the box to connect. Mine takes a few seconds and when the odometer shows the mileage, you're good to go.

I use an obsolete Garmin GPS that has a speedo function.
