Hey I have to give Sam the credit. His comment about "Driving it like you stole it" was the closer for me.

They do look a lot 'beefier" than bias tires do on it too, just another plus.

Took Sam's advice got the bigger tires:



Had a local shop sandblast and powder coat the wheels too.

Nice touch.....like the blue...

The powder coat more to preserve the 57 y.o. steel. With the Hollywood Smoothie wheel covers on you'll just see a small blue ring next to the WWs.

Next week I'll take it in for a front end alinement, then put the wheel covers back on.
