Sorry guys, been a hectic few months. My oldest daughter is back in the hospital. For those who don't know, she developed brain cancer at 7 years old. Two surgeries and a bunch of radiation and chemo and she beat it. She is now 21. MRI shows what they think is a new tumor. Down by the brain stem, so the potentially fatal kind. Drs found it today. We will know more in a few days, but at the moment I am in full panic mode.

Today the doctor used words like inoperable, borrowed time, and lucky to have lived this long. Seems the average survival rate for her type of cancer is 10 months, not 14 years. He said it like I'm supposed to be thrilled about it. I'm not, just in case anyone missed it. Doing a spinal tap tomorrow to start ruling things out, but basically said start calling in family.
