Beetle Rat Rod Help

Hi Guys,

New to the forum, just looking to share my project and get some advice where I can.

I have a 1970 beetle and currently in the process of hot rodding it, I have had a 5.5" roof chop and front extension.

I have put a long bonnet on it, but the steering box is in the way, anyone got any advice on how I can move this so the bonnet sits flat.

I also have some old steels that Im looking to get banded if you know anyone you does it then please let me know.

You will have to notch the hood to clear the steering box if you have a 10 inch extension. Where are you from? Welcome to RRR.
