Thank you all for the kind comments.:) The only things i want to do yet are change the baffles until i can get a satisfactory sound and a stained glass rear window. The previous attempt i made at building a speedster ended being a wooden bodied crate as well. So ten years have gone by and i still don't have a speedster.

Not really finished but damn close.

It's been 5 years. Oh what fun!

Nothing special. This is my first attempt at building one.

Good show,-----but, you forgot something. -----
Even after a teaser like those pictures, you still forgot to show hundreds of pictures of your build in the Builds thread.

Keep on tinkering. [cl[cl

In 1952 a ne'er-do-well neighbour was trying to drill a well for us. After a few years he gave up. Sometimes he came over to our place in his car. A model A. I was already loving old cars. Here is a picture of me showing interest.

The car sat in the elements under big spruce tree for a long, long time. Finally the old fellows son-in-law tinkered it up a bit. The son-in-law, Colin was a real good mechanic, but he was cautious because ownership of said car was always in question. Then, a granddaughter inherited it. It sits out at the end of their driveway now. So, now, almost seventy years later, I stopped in there and asked if I could have my picture taken by the same old Model A. They liked my story.

Thank you guys. My mother gave me that picture years ago and said that was the instant that I started down this path, ZZ.

The old well-driller sometimes came to work in a '27 model T truck and there was one sitting behind this car, but it isn't the same one.
