Tbone, looks great. LOL reminds me of when I was a kid. Calling up stores and asking if they had Prince Albert in a can. When they said yes, or course the reply was....you better let him out.

51 rat

Ha Guys Thanks for the comments The lite is a house hold socket with a 12v camper bulb from wally world it get alot of looks. The grill is the grill from the 51 ford I cut it down to fit the grill shell I made I painted it with a copper weld through coating but it was to bright so I started to reprime it with a black primer and after the 1st. coat the primer cracked and that is what it looks like know. The rest of the truck (THE RUST) was just DA down with 180 grit and primed and then sanded back down to the rust it looks like it was sitting out for years.

before and after

thanks guys, up here in the north its been a long cold winter so i suicided the doors and fixed a few wiring issues, i have to tell you guys there is a guy on here named harold and this guy is full of knowledge and know how, he was the go to guy an everything from frame build to steering, he is buying a 30 model A this weekend. we are going to pick it up sat. I cant wait to see what he comes up with , so if anybody has a chance shoot him a few kind words, or questions he will be very helpful.

This was how my car looked the day i got it home. picked it up on craigslist, drove it home about 45 miles,it was all registered but did'nt have any lights or electrical at all. battery was on the floorboard was hotwired runnin off the battery.i tore the whole car down to the bare frame, redid front and rear end, swapped out the automatic to muncie 4 speed, changed the body and put in a painless wire harness. alot of other stuff got done . car had a 29 ford title when i got it and was registered that was the main reason i bought it.

SWEET LORD! i love your car!!

Very cool old school, I have 51 f6 myself and am thinking of going a very similar direction with it. It would be cool to some build pics if you have them.
