Trashin'l, You and your buddies have 3 of the coolest rods around. Riding in a pack must be great fun.

59Imp, Great shots. You have pics of cars that no one on that other site bothered to post. I especially like the engine shots. Thanks.

well i had a terrific weekend, the Imp ran great, 70-80 mph on the freeway, 185 degree engine temp all day, 18 mpg, what a car!! 1178 kms truoble free.
met so many great people, lots of new Canadian friends, and a bunch of guys from the HAMB that were so down to earth. hung out with Rolf of the 'Rolf Coupe Build' on the HAMB, super nice guy, and the meticulous detail on that car is amazing, give it a good look over if you get the chance.

lots of cars downtown Fri night cruisin with open pipes and parked down both side of the one way streets, Centralia is a neat little town with lots of old character buildings, and great atmosphere, just like a scene from American Graffiti....Super time...........

just when i was leaving chatted with 2 guys that just got thier buddy outta jail, guess he was doing a burnout or something downtown Fri night on crowded streets, and the cops hauled him away cuffed at gunpoint, court date yesterday. only stupid thing i heard about all weekend. what was he thinking? i know it's easy to get all pumped up, but at a first time event, you gotta know the cops are extra vigilant waiting for a mishap. hope one guy don't spoil it for next year.

overall there was something for everyone, the quaility of some of the tradtional rods was top shelf, and the rat rods showed some real style and ingenuity.. don't think i saw a single unsafe POS or any car i wouldn't feel safe riding in....

mo........

Outstanding coverage 59Imp. Thanks for taking the time to share the photos. I'm glad the trip was a good experience for you. Looked like a great weekend.

all I can say is WOW, wish I would have drove the 350 miles to check that out. Imp, thanks for the pics and again, WOW. My Gramma grew up in Centralia and my Great gramma passed away in Centralia @ 107 years old in 1987. Great place

Jim
