No WB3...you're right it was listed on ebay a while back....was painted from what I remember.

There was a white one with the same style of "chop" out of California a while back. It was painted white.

Yep, Tripper started a craze.

A friend of mine owns "Skanky" a rat rod . He asked my Son if he had the left over roof sections from the Fordor he was building at one time because he had this "unique" idea to do what Tripper did. When I told him it had already been done he got a sad look on his face and said, "Well, there goes my idea !"

Has "skanky" ever made the trip to Gas city IN to the ducktail run?

I bet it has. Bill has driven that thing everywhere, even to Lone Star Roundup in Tx..........drove it all the way from Florida. He has a place in Indiana, I think and I know he has been to some events up that way.

Bill is just nuts. He is like 75 and has one land speed record under his belt and tried for another one this year, but the engine blew. He raced funny cars and has a few hot rods, but he absolutely loves Skanky the best.

How does one go about setting land speed records? Seams like a good challenge!
