Explosion in a chemical plant, actually multiple explosions but I think I heard something about 21 tons of TNT going off in there somewhere.

Not a chemical plant. A huge chemical warehouse at the port in Tianjin. Extremely explosive and/or toxic chemicals ready for shipment.

One of the chemicals was 700 tons of Cyanide. The Chinese still haven't said what else may have been in there.

I had read somewhere that the port in question exports explosives. Not really sure what happened, but holy cow what a mess. Amazing how far away the damage occurred.
