nearly 6 years ago my family and I moved from a DC suburb after 25 years to a more rural place about an hour away from the city. What a beautiful difference, in more ways than one. I now live about a mile from a drag strip which runs every Friday night and Saturday until probably 11:00 PM. I can literally hear the cars from my deck. I love it. Have gone there with my wife and son several times and had a ball. But more impressive to me is that there is a huge population of car nuts around me. Every other Saturday evening there is a years-old tradition of gathering at a local ice cream joint that happens to be in a strip shopping center. One end of the parking lot gets taken over by everything you can imagine in the automotive field. From Army-dress Jeeps to magazine quality show cars and everything in between. That's what got me pumped enough to first buy a Fox-body Mustang, and now my 51 Willys Jeep panel truck. There is a growing population of rats there, thanks to two local guys, who are likely members here at RRR and at KB.
