After selling the 53 yesterday and paying off some bills i had some mad money left over, so i bought me a little hotrod to drive until i start my next project.

I always wanted to do one of those, even with a 305 throttle body, it would be peppy and get great mileage. Nice score (and the perfect place for a 350[ddd)

I have to remount the seat, move it back about 4 inches. I hit my head on that bar every time i go around a corner or try to see out those stupid mirrors he mounted.

I didn't notice the mirrors, but now I see they're not so friendly. (I'd toss them in the river.)

Can you lower the seat(s)?

These trucks kill um power to weight ratio wise! When I blew the lil 4bang in this one I dropped in a hi-po 327/4 speed. Kept the orig rear but didn't go overboard on the rear tires to keep from tearing the rear out. It was my fav sleeper! I smoked many a Vette & many, many other "fast" cars. Once I heard a guy in a Vette with his date tell her... "Look, a lil Love truck"! I *smoked* him BIG time! Same thing at the next light! His date gave me the thumbs up after I slowed down & let him pass. LOTS of fun in that truck! Be sure to report back about your escapades!!! [ddd[ddd[ddd

I built a '75 Chevy Luv for my Dad. My brother had given it to my Dad but he wanted more power. Installed a 327/350 and a 9". The 327 was to get around the smog laws in California.
