this thread cracks me up...

I have an idea though to fix it....

Anyone ever used the self leveling two part epoxy that they use to put that hard clear on bar tops and such.. the kind that they bury stuff in, it builds up self levels and drys crystal clear, if you were to tape it from the front side temporally and pour it on the back side I bet it would hold it together and look pretty good at the same time, it may even help to reduce the viability of the cracks..

just a thought.. and you can get it at your local hobby place

There's another option. Thanks Corpo. I haven't got back to the lens yet.
I do have some wireglass that would make cool lenses.
