But I'm trying to convince the wife to move to AZ when I retire ....Not to the Arctic circle.....-50 degrees....you guys are nuts...I hate it when it gets below +32 degrees.....Penguins you're all blooming Penguins... splane to me what you see in a state that goes from OK warm to RIDICULOUSLY cold....[S

Staying warm isn't hard, not near as hard as trying to stay cool in 95 degrees with 80 % humidity. I've lived in both Texas and Alaska and I'll guarantee a lot more Texans move to Alaska than Alaskans moving to Texas.

ill take a cold place over a hot one anytime
i hated being outside in san marcos texas
and that place is drop dead beautiful.
the people were really nice
we had a great house
but i couldnt go outside.
