Bucket seats

I am thinking of switching to Bucket seats and wanted to get some feedback on which factory bucket seats are the most comfortable ? They will be going in a 1987 El camino , I know the GM would be the easiest to install but I can fabricate some brackets if needed. Thanks

I have a set of beautiful black leather full power with lumbar that I got for my car that will not fit after I channeled it so I am looking for something like bombers.[S

I have not made a point to look at a set, but I hear good things from the later model VW. Not necessarily the bug.

Vw Quatro seats are nice. A bit firm IMO. Since your doing a chevy, maybe look into the classic swivel buckets from the mid 70's monte's and malibu's. They were alway's cool[ddev

Just about any GM bucket should bolt onto any GM bracket-with the exception of the Beretta's.

Newer Cavalier/Sunfire buckets are pretty popular with the S-Truck guys and are cheap and easy to find. Take the time to look for a Z24 or GT car, they have more bolstering, nicer cloth and are a bit more comfortable, IMHO.
