Its been far to long since I've done anything with the bug but I finally got out to the shop to do a little bit. The expanded mesh has been fitted to the rad shell as a grill and the headlight mounting brackets have been made and welded on to the shock mounts.

It was an uphill battle but I finally got the paperwork sorted out and was issued a title document for the bug. This will make it possible to register the car once it is complete. More importantly, perhaps it will inspire me to get back to work on the project. It has been sitting idle for far to long!

Nothing worth posting - life has gotten in the way of progress but I still hope to get back on it. Maybe after the next knee replacement.
