Builder "Broken Light Customs", looking for info

I'm speaking with Broken Light Customs out in Colorado about possibly doing a ground up build. Do you guys and gals have an opinion on their work? They have been very communicative and professional in emails. I have their estimate sheet here in front of me and they have offered a few times to hand over the contact info from their past customers if I wanted to ask any questions. Want to ask you guys as well - have they made a name for themselves?

The guy's name is James Gardiner - he has a burnt F1 rat in the latest Old Skool Rodz mag. I see nothing but good things online - several cool builds, he has photos up on his Hubs site. Just wanted to ping you guys.
