You guessed it,
I got bored today and wanted to do something to the truck. No money to spend, so as usual, I had to get creative. Not quiet sure if it looks good or not, but Never seen it done before. Best part, didn't cost me a dime.

Take a look...

yeah i dig it alot....they used to do that alot back in the day looks good

did u figure out new brackets to do that or did it bolt right on:D

Nothing new as far as bracketts, I used what was there....Had to drill 2 holes to raise it up about an inch or so.

I kind of wanted it to look a little like an air dam. These model trucks have the aerodynamic capabilities of a brick. So I figure anything would be an improvement.

Would you guys really tell me if it was ugly ?

Pulled the truck out under the carport today so I could get a profile pic and see what it all looked like. Also had a few thing in the grill area that I wanted to address and wound up repainting the whole thing grey. I don't like it at all though. It will get done over again.

Tell me what you think.......

Bumper looks cool flipped. Might look good if you moved the bumper brackets back on the frame an inch or two to suck it up to the body a little. Just a thought.

cool idea ,looks freeky [messes with my head when i look at the pic's]
I'll go with the others on sucking it in to the body some though.

I was thinking the same thing about sucking in the bumper some more. Time to get the grinder back out. As far as the skirt on the bottom of the bumper, I don't think it will work, Don't think there will be enough ground clerence.

Ive always wanted to try and make a desoto looking grill in one just to be differant!!Like the custom mercurys runand maibie some frenced headlights of some sort!?!?
