C6 tans

On my 1982 ford truck the C6 trans seems to take a little longer to shift from 2nd to 3rd than it should, is there an easy fix for that or is that hurting anything, i know it was rebuilt before but i dont know when.

Replace the selenoid thats on the back of the tranny. It also feeds off of vacuum from the carb, so may want to check the vac. line as well.
