I REALLY want one of these !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bugatti Veyron..........1100 HP, zero to 60 in 2.5 seconds, and 253 mph top speed. While we are at it, throw in a couple thousand more because at top speed it will drain the 27 gallon fuel tank in 12 minutes !

I just watched a show on Velocity on how these cars are built, and besides the $2 million dollar price tag the tires only last 6,000 miles and a new set costs $17,000.00 ! (Ok, throw in another $20,000 just to be safe.....gotta tip the guy who installs the tires, ya know !)

Every bolt is titanium and they cost $100 each.

I have never wanted a car so bad in my life !

Don,

Let me see what I can do to help you. Hang on.... Nothing in that pocket... Oops empty in this pocket... Oh! A quarter! Oh wait.. It's my granddaughter's arcade token. No hang on! I usually stash some cash in my sock drawer... Oh wait... The kids hit me up for that a while a go......

Well here is the start: One arcade token, two nickles, seven pennies, an IOU from one of my kids (it is unsigned and I forgot which kid gave it to me) for $137, and one unused not yet expired coupon from Arby's good for half off an order of fries.

Should I put this in a box and mail it to you? (Postage due of course....)

Want to try my lottery numbers?

They're no Ferrari or Lambo. I drove one once.* They are fast when they get up to speed, but aren't that nimble.

(*in a video game.:D)

When I was in Monterey for speed week a couple of years ago there were 6 Veyrons parked on main street,4 normal 1001HP and a couple of the sporty 1100 +.

Thanks for the offers of some money guys, at least I can go to McDonalds if nothing else. :D

That Veyron is absolutely outrageous. 16 cylinders and mostly aluminum construction, still it weighs over 2 tons. Before they turn it over to the new owner they put 500 Km on it to find any bugs, so essentially you are buying a used car for $ 2 million.

I wonder what the first service costs and where do you get it done ? Can you imagine if it needs repairing what you would have to go through ? If you GAVE me the car I couldn't afford to own it.

I watched a show on that car a few years back, They let the reporter take one across country and he was stopping in hillbilly towns, got some interesting comments. It's probably the only one that ever got driven. I think they only made them the one year and only a handfull at that.

A couple of years ago, a guy drove one off in the backwaters of Galveston Bay, near Galveston. Some teens on I-45 got it on video. The driver said a seagull ran him off the road. Weren't no birds in the video. It was found out later that the guy was trying to cash in on insurance money for his buddy that owned the car. What a waste of a beautiful car. Here it is on youtube.

Buy an arial atom with the big motor.
Top gear drove the (only) 300 hp model and couldnt stop laughing the whole time.
doesnt look as cool as the veyron though..

it must just be me, but i think that car is ugly, and the price doesn't make it any better looking either.

i remember that.

They have a newer one that is 1,200hp and of course a targa version. I have to say - they arent the best looking things.

Even though they sell for $2M, it costs VW (owns bugatti) around $5M to build each one. Makes no financial sense but it was the VW CEO's pet project, done just to demonstrate thier technical capability.

So $2M is a bargain!
