I was wondering ( and also refuse to pay 10.00 dollars to ship a 10.00 item from Speedway AND that weighs LESS THEN 4 ounces..!!)) if it is possible to use 4 bolts instead of using u-bolts to bolt my spring perch together..?

if you ordered online call speedway to ask about the shipping and they should make it right. I recently filled out an order online and added a 9.99 tie rod end at the last minute and it bumped the shipping up by 14 bucks:eek: I called the next day and the shipping was even cheaper than before i added the tierod end.

when you feel a bump and see ur axle in your rearview mirror, you'll prolly re-think that 9.99 shipping.... just saying not a good place to skimp kinda like brakes..... dp1

Just get the proper U bolts. I have never seen anyone use regular bolts to hold that style spring. So there must be a reason.

Go to a local farm store or any spring or trailer shop. They will make them up for you.

I may be missing something here are you talking about the front spring perch, or rear-end perches? Do you have pics? Mine uses regular bolts.
