Car rear clip for box?

Hey,
I've been looking for info on this, I've seen a picture or two way back.
Anybody have any pictures or know of a thread anywhere?
Something like a 59/60 Buick or Chevy rear...... I have a 38 ford cab.

Don't know of a dedicated thread, but I've seen several, 58 Buick, 60 Buick, 59 Chev, 62 Comet. I think most any finned mid to late 50's - early 60's car would fit the bill. Maybe this will be the start of one - I'm sure Gastrick or Bonehead could dig up some info and pics for you......

could always use an old camino or ranchero -- they had fins at one point -- trying to find pictures of what you were talking about -- i know ive seen it.

I'm thinking of doing the same for my 45 gmc and using the quarters of my cousins abandoned 56 desoto project. It has some fin but not to much.
