A buddy of mine has a Ford collection dating from 1910 to 1970, over a dozen cars. The other day he dug this one out, purchased a few years ago from the daughter of the original owner
This car was purchased brand new from a dealership, right here in my little town, by the mom when she was 20 years old, last driven in 1974, (Fla inspection sticker) and parked in a carport ever since.
My bud bought it, had to change out the motor, and did the grill art work. Note the original dealer tag still on the car.
Then yesterday, me and the gal pal went to our favorite dive/biker bar just as they opened, got the first spot, a few minutes later these two dudes show up and park next to me, in his 54 GMC but with Chev grill and LS motor, so we shared the table. Just relocated from California, he happens to be friends with one of the stars of Sons of Anarchy, and face timed him to show the cars together in the lot.
