A *real* tin magnet
I have really tried to stay on course with my build but it seems impossible sometimes.
I was visiting an old dude the other day and he wants to trade me a bunch of 240/300 stuff for a ZF 5 speed I have. He has a complete and healthy efi 300, another one the brown shirt guys toasted a piston at 19,000, another short bolck, heads pistons, a comp 268 cam, roller rockers ect., ect.....and a 2-4s intake. He also wants the 460 I have slated for my rpu.
Sooo I start thinking a 300 for my 69 crewcab and use the 390 from it for the rod. That would make 3 dueces do-able and I could keep the big shaft toploader.
His offer to swap did not include the 460, he would buy that outright.
Any opinions on the trade? I was asking $350 for the tranny.
