Did you chop the top? Head room-----Head room

I chopped mine 4"s and channeled 4"s rear and 6"s front.

All I can say is Head room!!!!!!! put the seats you will be use'n in and measure.

If you channel that much, consider dropping the driver side pan in between the frame rails. In the foot area - that can give you 4-5" more leg room - BUT the trans narrows the foot room. A little headroom can be gained by raising the front seat mounts a couple inches which will tilt the seats back some.
 
Ya I am dropping the rear part of the floor pan between the rails level with front 1/2 where it arch's up over the rear end, that will give me the head room and leg room I need.[;)
 
so many of these fattys that are rusted out cut the rust off, take [;)[;)the floor out[;) pitch the fenders!:D[dr
 
Went to carters salvage yesterday,lookinf for an rear axle,but found a 46 buick nose????hhmmm well it's going on the coupe looks neat gotta slice ans dice, mig here mig there!
 
Looks neat! And now I'm not the only one thats building something that everyone says------(Looks like an old modifided dirt car).... I get that all the time not that that was my plan. you can ck it out in my build thread.

Like the way your going with it, cosmic. Tho, I think of a late 50's thru 70's asphalt mod. But, in that era, alot of those were run on both dirt & asphalt.
