I'd be curious to see how the drivetrain is set up. Is it a transaxle, or does it have some sort of direction change gearbox like a V-drive from a boat?

Looks like a Olds Toronado set-up to me. Pretty cool....

but he said its a mid-rear engine set up thats in it.

I think it's ...well...uhm... very unique. I see a lot of trikes around these parts but that is one of the most inventive one's I've seen. Would I drive it? Probably not. But then I like either 2 wheels or 4. With the exception of a 42 servicar and a honda big red, I have stayed clear of 3 wheels

ive NEVER seen a 3 wheeled motor vehicle that i thought i might need
whether it be motorcycle, golf cart, or just regular 3 wheeler
aside from those new mp3 s or whatever with the 2 wheels in front
and just the one in back - UNTIL i saw that one -- if he gets back to me
im definatly going to have to at least go see it lol [P

I would be tempted to turn it into a 4-wheel something or other by grafting on a beam axle or maybe even a VW front end.

its an old tornado 455
said he didnt really know where to
start to get it running.. but the guy
that gave it to him said it ran before
it had been sitting a while...
may be something super easy to fix -
anything in particular i should look for
- not really familiar with these engines.

went and looked at it --- would probably just be easier (and maybe cheaper) to build one from scratch than to try and bring that thing back to life -- going to have to pass this time.
