Chevy 6 swap ??

I have a 49 Fleetline dealt for that I never got home with yet. The motor is supposedly bad.
Today I found a 57 (car) 235 that is supposed to be a decent runner. Is the 235 a bolt-up in the 49? Use the 216 bell housing or the 235?

yep

Yes will bolt right in... no mods, no problems. You'll have to use the 49 tranny and bell housing because of the torque tube set-up in the 49.
