I'd keep the 40.

I would like to But right now I got 3 car projects and 2 bike projects going and its been 3 years since I had a driver. I really want to get the Model T pickup done.

I been taking my 2003 Harley Davidson - F150 to the shows and cruises.

I do have a cash offer but it less then what I want to let it go for. Its not a money issue. I just want something that I can drive now.

Me personally, Id go for something different. You see alot of those chevy's around at shows and such. That wagon is different and not many are around or showing up. Id go for that wagon for sure, that thing just screams ...... cool.

My vote goes for the '53. All the hard, expensive work is done. That thing would make a great driver.

The problem with buying what somebody else calls a driver is that it probably will not be exactly what you want and it will be torn apart and be your next project (ask me how I know :))

Keep the 40 and finish it. Something about driving somebody elses car just doesn't sit well with me. Unless you make major changes to it, it's always his old car!!...

I agree but right now I want a driver so I can get the Model T Done. After it done would, I may sell the driver.

The 53 is a straight up trade and was thinking after the Model T is done I would let my girl friend have it, She likes the way the car looks. We almost bought a 51 last fall and she really wanted that one.

The 56 is his car and some cash for my car. I already was thinking about changes. 302/4 speed maybe a gasser look.

And there is a third choice. The cash and there is a 51 Ford with a 302 /C4 locally that I know. And this car been to FL. couple of times. The guy that has it needs the money,

I'm also thinking about selling the 48 Ford pickup project and the 84 Harley Chopper project.

Finish what you've got!

How do you do that? I always get one so far along and then I get tired of it, or someone else wants it more then me :D

Hot40Rod..As far as the trade....I like both options that you posted, and understand the desire to have something to drive. I was without a ride for two years and it drove me up the wall not having something to get in and go cruising it. I personally have a 40 tudor sedan, and have always liked the body style, that's why I half heartedly mentioned trading the Studebaker....but then I'd be without a ride again...and I ain't ready for that. Good luck with whatever you decide to do, but I expect to see whatever car you have at Macungie this year
