4-door?

OK this Nash WAS a 4-door!
This is my 14 yr.old sons 1953 Nash custom that we are working on.We cut 10 in. out of the back doors and added to the front doors the same 10 in.to be a two door and chopped the top 5 1/2"!

49 Plymouth. Flames done in 1967. Under 50,000 miles on the car now. 350/700r4, 9" rear. Dropped spindle uprights, power rack. A really nice cruiser that my son loves to drive. This photo is a 'before' sho. It now has whitewalls, full hubcaps and lakes pipes. Chopped about 4 inches.

I used to think why do 4 doors. Now though I've changed my tune, they are great if you have a family and alot of 4 doors seem to have a nicer roofline. Not to mention they are cheaper than a 2 door (sometimes).

Man that car looks great! Good job to both you and your son. What type of chassis are you going with?

"Four Door Fred's" current chopped sedan. My son drives Fred's old '49 Plymouth 4 door shown earlier on this thread. Taken this afternoon at Back to the Fifties.
