i am using the 27 as a daily driver.
it has been averaging 17f each morning.
but some of us will sacrifice comfort for style.;)

actually when it warms up in the afternoon it is really nice.
but those mornings?

I put you right up there in the catagory of...

a bit crazy......just like the guys I see still riding their bikes here in MI...it's been nice but 30 to 34degrees in the am and 44 or 45 by noon....they go zipping by on their bikes like it's 70...[S
 
I drive mine almost every day unless it's raining pretty hard. And yes, my bug has good heat.:D 20 degrees in the mountians last weekend. the waterfalls were all ice.

I always figure if I can ride a snowmobile 100+ miles an hour in 25 below for extended periods, nothing can be too tough in a car, just bundle up and keep the ice off the windshield.

I used to drive a topless full-size Blazer year 'round. People thought I was nuts, but I dressed for it, so no big deal. Besides, the cold air is refreshing. :D

"Yes. But it's a 'dry' cold."
 
update
i put some plexiglass in the doors and installed a 28000 BTU heatercraft heater.
it gets HOT in that cab.
i dont even need to seal up all the holes in the firewall.....
