Great for filling holes when working with no helper; like filling firewall holes, etc.

i always have chunks of copper around for just that reason. i didn't go to the link but i figured that is what it was about.

I clamped in a flattened piece of 1/2-inch copper pipe behind my stress cracks when welding them up. Worked great. Bends to the shape of the fender. Can't find the pics.
