Myself and about 100 other people saw something,silently hovering about 200 ft over a parking lot many years ago..it was typical disc shape, probably 70 feet in diameter,red light on bottom center with slowly circling white lights around the perimeter..it hovered for about 30 seconds then went straight up and out of sight..We were basically right under it, it was quiet out and it never made a sound..

Seriously, this was before I had discovered alcohol. I was with my dad, we talked about it the next day, then he said he would never mention it again.. We never did..

I'm not sure I believe alot of the stuff on some of those shows, but to me its an interesting topic..

Yeah, I'm not sure where we ever got that idea, He's done a lot better right here under our noses,lol. What other species destroys it's own planet.

I have always had this theory that we humans are someone's experiment. It is like we were put here and every so often they come back to see how we are progressing. Kinda like us having an ant farm in a glass case that we study to see how the little devils go about their business.

Maybe that is why there have been unexplained sightings around military bases and places like that. They may want to know how far we have come and if we will ever present a threat to them. After all, we don't exactly have a great history of us humans being a peaceloving bunch, do we ?

I find that very fascinating. Probably more truth to that than most people would like to admit.

That Ancient Aliens show is pretty good. Some of the things they discuss, like those landing strips that are only recognizable as such from the air, drawings that look like guys in space suits, etc are pretty spooky.

As was mentioned previously, there are places built thousands of years ago where the stones are so precisely cut we can duplicate the process even today. And you have to wonder how people who had no sophisticated equipment moved stones that weight tons and tons a hundred miles from where they originated to where they were used to build something.

You just have to keep an open mind that we don't know all the answers about everything yet.

I watched a show on the History Channel yesterday about Wright Patterson AF Base and the theories that there are very secret places beneath it that house aliens and alien space craft that we have recovered.

One funny part was where J. Edgar Hoover was mad because even with all his power they would not allow him entrance to the site. He wanted the FBI to have access to it and they basically told him in a not so friendly way to get lost.

I have also heard that even the President does not have access to some of the things that go on. We would think that the President could simply say, "Ok, Guys, tell me everything about this UFO stuff" and he would be briefed. But they say there are places in the Government where even he is not welcome. It is a need to know basis, I guess.

Clinton admitted he was not in control of the whole government. Remember when Carter said if he became Prez he was going to release everything the gov't had on ufos? He was asked about it after he took office and he said he wasn't going to be able to do it.

At the end of October I will be making a return trip to Point Pleasant, WV. I have been there a few times before but not since they erected the "Mothman" statue. I'll be sure to take pics for everyone.

Our annual family trek to the Wright-Patterson museum used to be my fav-o-rite event of the year when I was a kid. This was back in the early 70's. Much better than going to Kings Island which my brother liked more.
