Hey...
We are back.[cl :D
Ventured out to the shop for the first time in a while yesterday.
Worked on rounding the lower corners and folding over the lower lip.
Did a little trimming on the inner frame first. Once I got the lower lip folded over I trimmed it to match the width of the stock overlap.
I'm happy with how the radius on the tail light bucket matches the round lower corners.:)
All this took about 2 hours which seems to be about my time limit right now.
Keep on keeping on.
Torchie

I missed you leaving and missed you coming back. you could just say I missed you and leave it at that. :p glad you are still shuffling around torch!

I dont have the patience for any of this work but I sure appreciate that you do!

Amazing how the little things change the overall look. [cl[cl:cool::cool:[P[P

Indeed POPS.
Some of it is things that no one will notice. Others are fairly obvious.
If this was a points car it would be considered a “ Radical” custom. Due to the chop and sectioning.
Doesn’t look too radical to me.

It's looking really nice!! I agree the little things makes all run smoothly and only you really know how much work went into a 4" piece of metal [;)
Rest easy, you'll be back the 8 hour days soon. [P

Thanks gang.:)
Fender bolted on and started to fully weld it yesterday.
This is going to take a while.[;) [;) [;)
Filler rod where needed to bridge the gaps.
Ugly but strong and I pity the fool that has to ever take this fender off.(Lets hope it's not me. [ddd .)
No progress today. Looking at getting back to it tomorrow as the temps are supposed to be in the mid 40's here.
Keep on keeping on......

NICE!!! I thought you were going to take it easy for a while.
You want to come help me? The pay isn't much but it is warmer here.

I am taking it easy POPS.[ddd
If I take it too easy I'll just spend what time I have left sitting in a chair.
Pay isn't much here either. But the woman and the food are great. [cl :D [ddd

Heated up the shop and spread a thin coat of Fiberglass reinforced filler over the scars.
My compressor is unhooked so I grabbed a variable speed 8 inch sander and gave it all a quick once over with 80 grit.
Dig the subtle flare around the tail light buckets. Most people will never even notice that.:D
Next week will be hit and miss as the work on my new leg and both braces start on Tuesday. Along with more follow ups at the Drs.
On to the other side.[;) [;) [;)
Keep on keeping on......
Torchie
p.s. Now it's chair time. :p [ddd
