I like tearing things apart. S10 hinges wore out a lot of bushings. I changed a few.

I was just having that discussion with an old friend, Kenny.
Tearing apart is sometimes more fun then the build.

Those hinges were not the best design GM ever came up with. I sold the doors off of my donor to a kid with some bad hinges on his truck. I had to show him how to change the locks out. He thought he needed the key with the doors.

The whole one pin in from the top and the other in from the bottom. Plus that PITA spring.
Is there even any adjustment on theses doors?
Not much off of this one will be sellable. I think only the hood.
Blessedly getting some rain here tonight. Much needed.

Good idea. Real legs have a better warning system for when you try to set them on fire, and they are self repairing for the most part.

Finished up the last body mount today.
I'm really tired of doing this under the car stuff and it's taking a hard toll on my body, so I just bulled through the last 2.
Not pretty but once they are seam sealed. Covered with POR 15 and undercoating they will more then serve their intended purpose.
I've got to get past this part of the build and keep moving forward.

Started on the messy stuff today.
I'm doing this in sections to limit my time under the car.
This is the DS from the center of the drive shaft tunnel to the inner rocker.
And from the rear of the pan at the kick up to almost the very front.
All welds seamed sealed.
A coat of POR 15 type rust treatment.
A liberal spray of rocker panel chip coat for undercoating.

Going to be a couple of days before I get back to it. My stump was very angry looking this morning. (Keep it clean Crank. )
It doesn't like all the pushing and pulling I have to do to roll around under the car.

It’s seems my stump is more then angry.
I believe the Dr used the word traumatized more then once.
I’ll be out of the leg for at least a week. So no shop time In my near future.
Cold and snowing here right now any ways.
