Never forget, as those that were part of D-Day, die off. I don't think it is even taught in schools anymore. I lost an uncle in the invasion.

I cannot imagine the hell of those guys went through. I've actually been watching a lot of world war II documentaries and stuff lately. It's crazy and you're right a lot of it is not taught in schools anymore
