Ok Back to the '29 4 door.

So we tried out the body on the 2wd frame. We didn't like it and she wanted a 4x4. We looked over at the chevy frame that I had already modified for another project:

We removed the dodge sheet metal and installed the Ford stuff. It fit Like i had made it for it.

I'll have to get back to the dodge some other time... maybe a motorhome?

So here is the mock up for the project.

We played around with a couple different front fender options, including the original ford fenders and some rear fenders off of a '80s chevy.

We were in a antique/junk store and I came across some fenders from a '37 Cadillac...they quickly followed me home.

She decided that would be perfect, and I agree. We set he cowl where we thought it would go and stepped back to see.

With the front fenders placed, we went back to N*rthern Tool for more trailer springs and made up the front bumper. She also wanted a spot to sit and eat her lunch fo we made an expanded steel seat at the front.

We also started playing around with the grill.

Everything looked good so we started welding

About the same time we worked the area where the front end and front fender joined up. We wanted to smooth the transition.

We needed to make all of accessible, so most of it bolts on and off.
