descaling engine block

anybody have a good method to get the scale out of the water jackets ?

Don't know of any other way than taking it somewhere to get hot tanked.

www.mcmaster.com has extra long tube brushes that work great.

If you Google the Slant Six website, you will find in one of the engine articles a piece on descaling at home with Muriatic Acid (swimming pool acid). Be very careful when using it though.
