difference between comedy and tragedy

I just watched the 17 yr old neighbor kid be confused by a manual can opener - couldn't figure it out!? That's tragedy and comedy all at once. I tried not to laugh, but couldn't help myself!!

You should have told him the battery was dead. Then sent him to the store to get the special adapter so he can charge it via his Ipod dock.
