Hey guys. I robbed the master cylinder off a 70's Chevy van to use on the rat. The van had disks up front and drums in the back just like my rat.
It's not boosted.
Will I need to run a proportioning valve or can I just come straight off the master cylinder to the front, then split to each side and do the same for the rear?

I don't think they're really that necessary but that's just my opinion. I do prefer to run them on trucks since they're so light in the rear and a p-valve can help with distribution there!

use one

definitively use one and make sure it's for disc/drum application.

they make a big difference, l have tried to run cars with out one and it can be scary when the brakes don't work correctly.

Later
