I looked it all up one time, but my memory for such things is questionable.

Mine has a chrome strip that runs through the body line on a semi circle, that is one of the differences. I also notice the rear side window diff.

The major difference is that the business coupe has a shorter roof than the regular coupe. If you look at the two pictures, Boneheads car is a regular coupe and yours is a business coupe. The area between the trunk lid and the back window area on yours is much greater. Sometimes the business coupes didn't even have a back seat, just a carpeted area back there.

Most manufacturers back then offered some form of business coupe, and as the name suggests, they were for commercial use, like salesmen, who needed a big trunk for sample cases and stuff like that, but who did not need a backseat to carry additional passengers.

From what I can see in your picture, yours is a business coupe. You will also notice your car has no vent window in the back, but Boneheads car does.

I like the chrome on yours ,thats nice!

The chrome strip on Bonehead's Ford means its a Crestliner, not all coupes had that, just Crestliners. And Tom, your Ford is a Business Coupe.

I always thought the short roof was a coupe and the long roof was a sedan.

Its been diputed for some time. One of my reference books lists Bonehead's Crestliner as a coupe, the other lists it as a 2 door sedan. Honestly, it is a 2 door sedan beacause it shares its longer wheel base with a 4 door but in most accounts Ford offered it as a coupe.
