Dozer, I noticed you haven't posted for a while. Was hoping everything was okay out your way. Nothing like a good medical scare. The docs have lots of good medicines and procedure now days so there's every reason to be optimistic.

What a coincidence to meet the good Doc C. the way you did. Of course, he is always on our minds, worrying about him. Great they finally diagnosed the problem and fixed him up. Like you, Dr. Crank, is a main contributor here on UDS. We need both of you guys back.

Good news, keep healing both of you...

So the last month or so I have been experiencing shortness of breath, and chest pain. My Dr has been trying to get me into see a cardiologist but covid has them not cooperating. Wednesday is got real bad and my nitro didn't help so i went to emergency they did a bunch of tests and said no heart attack go home. I was not happy with this and got into see my family dr who was furious. He made one call and had me on stat list, go home and wait for a call. At 130 Thursday morning I got the call and a 4.5 hour ambulance ride the the Regina heart center. Thursday at 130 I hand an angiogram and they found everything ok in my heart. They moved me to the cardiac ward to wait for a lung specialist who saw me yesterday at 430. He suspects i have COPD, emphysema. They discharged me to come home this morning. About an hour and a half before my ride got there i walked out into the hall coming face to face with a familiar fellow who said Glen? I said Kim? And such started our first face to face meet and an hour and an half hall chat, we were one room apart for 24 hours.
The good Doc has been in the hospital since mid September, the good news is they found and repaired a hole in his heart, he has lost a ton of weight and is on the mend.
