That's sad. I remember back in the 80's when sport bikes started getting really fast, a mechanic at a local Honda dealership here in S. Fla was killed in the alley behind the dealership testing a new bike he had just assembled out of the crate. Lost control and hit a building.

You don't really think about it but 120 mph is about your maximum free fall speed. Hitting a wall at 120 is like jumping out of an airplane without a chute and hitting a parking lot...
And 100mph happens quickly on a bike...
I think you hit 120 mph after falling 3 or 5 commercial stories. something like 40-50 feet.
so hitting a wall at 60 mph is like at least a 2 story fall onto concrete.
And at 30 mph is like falling off one tier of scaffolding onto concrete which has killed some carpenters

guys,
i'm not critizing your thoughts, but step back and think about how many people know that got killed in a car that was too much for them? Do we state messages or say cars are unsafe, should have had seatbelts, airbags, ect.
I have been riding all my life, and yes it is dangerous. So is getting in a car now days. When god calls it doesn't matter if we are on a motorcycle or sitting on the crapper.

I agree and disagree at the same time, i'll just leave it at that and say,.....

All the safety precautions in the world can't fit stupid.
