Duplicolor??

Has anyone here used the Duplicolor brand metalflake paint (MetalSpecks) in a spray can?

Is it worth using for small jobs? Are there any other brands of metalflake paints in a spray can?

How about their Black Effect spray paint?

You guys on RRR are mindreaders! I was searching the 'Net for metalflake in cans and came up empty. Now, GCG makes this thread. I too, hope someone has used it and can tell us about it.

My nephew used it on his motorcycle wheels. It prayed fine, but the finish was more "metallic" than "metal flake" to me. It also had a semi gloss sheen. I will need to be clear coated to make it pop. It may also help bring out the flake. DC makes a clear that should work. The one I get is in the "van and truck" line.

I dont see why it wouldnt work. Its the exact same paint that you can get in a gallon or anything else to spray out of a gun. This is just in a ready to spray can. I had the local duplicolor match the color of my ranger so i could color match the bumpers, and they put mixed it all up and then put it straight into a spray can.

Short version of this is, yes itll work just fine.
